From Anywhere, Any Time.

In this self-paced online workshop, Dr. Donna Coffman provides step-by-step instructions on propensity score estimation in R. Here's what's included in the course:

  • How to define and estimate causal effects using the potential outcomes framework

  • How to use propensity scores to estimate causal effects

FAQ

  • What level of statistical training is required for the course?

This course is for learners with a foundational knowledge of linear and logistic regression analysis. Prior experience with R is not required.

  • Is there a time limit for the course?

Once you enroll and the course has launched, you will have unlimited access to the content. You are free to pause and return to your lessons as needed.

  • Will you give me feedback on my analyses?

Unfortunately, personal feedback is not possible given the volume of researchers we serve. We are certain that Dr. Coffman's thorough approach to guiding you through every step of using R, along with the helpful handouts included in the course, will enable you to successfully perform propensity weighting techniques with your own data. Note that we here at QuantFish are always happy to help you navigate any technical issues related to the course itself.

How the Course Works

Follow these steps to start learning propensity score analysis:

  • 1. Enroll in the Course

You will receive a payment receipt by email from QuantFish and instructions for accessing your Student Dashboard. Propensity Score Methods with R is available to start right away.

  • 2. Start Learning

Begin the course when the time is right for you. Visit your student dashboard, click on the course, and watch the introductory video to get started. Subsequent lessons are shown to you in sequential order, along with the PDF resources. Plan on each module to take about two hours, plus practice time.
