Expert Training in MTMM.
From Anywhere, Any Time.

Including multiple raters and/or multiple methods (e.g. parent, child, and teacher reports of child anxiety) in research questions is strongly encouraged in the social and behavioral sciences, but many investigators have difficulty specifying them in their statistical models. In this self-paced online workshop, Dr. Christian Geiser teaches you theory-driven approaches to analyze, interpret and report multitrait-multimethod (MTMM) models in Mplus. Here’s what’s included in the course:

  • Construct validation through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) MTMM models

  • Measurement equivalence testing across raters

  • Comparing latent means, variances, covariances, and correlations across raters

  • Modeling different types of raters

FAQ

  • I don't have access to Mplus. Can I still benefit from this course?

Absolutely. You can engage in the full curriculum using only the demo version of Mplus, which is FREE. Dr. Geiser will provide instructions about getting the demo installed on your computer.

  • What level of statistical training is required for the course?

This course is for learners with foundational knowledge of confirmatory factor analysis. A working understanding of the Mplus software is helpful, but not required. Need a beginner-focused course? Mplus from Scratch gives you everything you need to be ready for this workshop.

  • There is no way that I will be able to set aside the three days required to take this course. Is the timing flexible?

We understand completely! The timing is entirely up to you. Once you enroll and the course has launched, you will have unlimited access to the content. You are free to pause and return to your lessons as needed.

  • Will you give me feedback on my analyses?

Dr. Geiser is happy to answer questions related to course content and Quantfish promptly resolves any technical issues related to the course platform. If you are interested in personal consultation on your own data, please contact us to get started.

How the Course Works

Follow these steps to start learning multirater assessment:

  • 1. Enroll in the Course

You will receive a payment receipt by email from QuantFish and instructions for accessing your Student Dashboard. MTMM & Multirater Analysis is available to start immediately.

  • 2. Start Learning

Begin the course when the time is right for you. Visit your student dashboard, click on the course, and watch Dr. Geiser's introductory video to get started. Subsequent lessons are shown to you in sequential order, along with the PDF resources. Plan on each day (module) to take about three hours, plus practice time.
